Digital Grenoble is the regional hub for digital economy under La French Tech programme. Its aim is to develop programmes to grow our digital enterprises, attracting international customers, finance and talent. Digital Grenoble is incorporated as a 380+ strong associate cooperative. Under the French Tech in the Alps banner, Digital Grenoble expands cooperation and action with Annecy, Chambéry, and Valence economical area, rich with tens of thousands jobs in highly innovative companies.

Digital Grenoble brings together talent, networks and resources to foster digital economy growth in the region. Its action is based on collective interest projects : entrepreneurs bring suggestions to the cooperative, they receive support to build a team with mutually productive interests, then to transform the idea into one or several make-test-improve cycles, eventually leading to lasting improvements benefiting to all. Digital Grenoble gets its resources from crowdfunded capital, various partnerships and services.

Laurent was appointed in May 2016 to run Digital Grenoble. Prior to this role, Laurent was is charge of developing Rolls-Royce's civil nuclear customer relationships on the European scene, after a successful period at the helm of Rolls-Royce's Instrumentation and Controls business unit, with operations in USA, France and the Czech Republic.

Prior to joining Rolls-Royce in 2004, Laurent was with Electricité de France where he held several management positions in nuclear engineering and projects for nuclear plant operation and upgrades. Laurent has also held other senior leadership roles within EDF, including projects in Simulation and Artificial Intelligence Research and Development.

Laurent is an alumnus from Ecole Polytechnique, Paris, and holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence. He enjoys programming and playing music. He is married to Christine with three children.
